Bill Tate, Director of Prometheus Consulting, completed two
research projects for the Futures Group at the Council for Excellence
in Management and Leadership (CEML). Bill worked with Professor John
Burgoyne and Professor Amin Rajan. His reports can be downloaded

Bill gave a presentation to The Annual Compensation Forum of the Chartered Institute of Personnel
and Development (CIPD) on the subject of demergers. You can download

Leadership in investment decisions
The Centre for Tomorrow's Company (CTC), led by Mark Goyder in
conjunction with the large consulting house KPMG, has contributed
evidence for submission by Paul Myners (chairman of Gartmore Investment
Bank) to the Government on how to help investment managers make
better informed decisions about which companies to invest in for
sustained success. Bill was part of a team looking at ways of
specifying and checking the quality of leadership.
Corporate Social Responsibility
Good Corporation.com has invited Bill to become one of their
accredited consultants offering advice to companies seeking chartered
status. Good
Corporation campaigns for greater corporate social responsibility
(CSR) through subscription to a charter of best practice.
Corporate Governance
The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales has
awarded a contract to City University Business School to research
and prepare Advanced Level learning materials for a new stage
beyond Professional status. Bill has written the component on
corporate governance.
